Yes, I went there.
I have a confession, amongst all the hype, I haven’t, wait for it… even read the book. *Hangs head in shame* But here’s the thing… after this shoot I have to say, curiosity has gotten the best of me and I am breaking down and purchasing it for my Kindle. I am intrigued. Especially after the discussion came up in a forum of fellow boudoir photographers who described scenes that would be cool to try and replicate and that the few images I shared with them were too “clean”. LOL. So as you look through these images please remember that this was simply a Fifty Shades of Grey inspired shoot. Not meant to replicate, nothing too dark, nothing too racy because after all this is a public access site.
I wanted the essence of 50 Shades, a hint if you will, of sexy meets a little naughty with lots left to the imagination. It’s was fun to get to play and my Coterie Girl, Andrea. She was awesome, beautiful and willing. Yay!
This wasn’t just about a sexy book however, but also a shoot meant to experiment in the new San Jose Studio space(which is so close to being finished I can taste it). We shot at sunset and I had the opportunity to play with gorgeous sun flare through the windows and even my lights, which I am not a huge fan of using but I always enjoy experimenting and despite my hesitations I end up liking the results. Wow, run on sentence much? Hahaha. Alas I will always be a natural light lover at heart. This session was fun, sexy and playful and I am loving the results and maybe, just maybe, it will inspired some clients to test out their 50 Shades ideas at a session! *Wink, wink, nudge, nudge*
Oh, oh, oh one last thing, many of these outfits are from Besos (black corset, bra & masks)and I am in LOVE with the ribbon bra and panties near the end. They are from a Colombian line called Ellipse( I’m so in love. ♥♥♥)and Gail is ordering these soon so head into Besos to get yours! – but save me this set, it’s on my Must Have list.
There are so many images that I decided to do this gallery style, enjoy…
My apologies but this gallery has been removed… I will try to reshoot and provide even better images soon. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Are you ready to get your Fifty Shades of Grey on?
I have limited session spaces between now and Christmas and oh what a deliciously naughty little gift that would be for someone special.

After months of gazing longingly at beautiful lingerie online, I will openly admit that I am truly in love with Aubade. They have such a classy fine detailed style. And this isn’t the first time I have drooled over their amazing artistry we call lingerie, you can see a past post HERE. Gorgeous and elegant, sexy and sweet. I fell in love with this collection of black and rose elegance. It’s so stunning and the color detail is amazing. The down side is the price tag however European styles are often worth every penny due to their quality and beautiful detailing. So imagine my excitement when I discovered that Chamelle28, a local lingerie store in Palo Alto- seriously close enough for all my Boudoir Coterie clients in San Jose and everyone else in the Bay Area to get to(*hint) carries fine European lingerie, including Aubade. *Swoon*
So if you get a chance to swing by, do so and see for yourself just how amazing this lingerie is! *Note that store selection will vary and I don’t know if they have this particular set and no I am not affiliated with Chamelle28… but that would be cool.
Happy Friday Everyone… I’ll be relaxing a wee bit this weekend because I hired a contractor to do the drywalling in the studio and thus I won’t be spending the weekend in a panic about whether or not it will get done in time! hahaha.
Have a fabulous weekend and may you add a little sexiness in too… wait, I can help with that! Call me: 408.460.1855 or bcoterie@sbcglobal.net
Saying “I Do” To Bridal Boudoir | San Jose Bay Area Boudoir Photography

Bridal Boudoir
It’s becoming one of the hottest grooms gifts and a very personal one at that. With wedding season upon us, now is the time to make it happen. A little piece of you, what more could he ask for? Imagine slipping him the album as you part ways the night before your nuptials. Or even better, have it delivered to him an hour or two before walking down the aisle and have your wedding photographer there to capture his reaction. No matter how you choose to gift your special man, any cold feet vibes he may have been having will quickly be out the door and he will be anxiously awaiting your arrival at the alter- tapping his toe and checking his watch.
Bridal boudoir is a wonderful way to capture some of those special details in a more intimate way. From your garter and veil to the delicate diamond earrings borrowed from your grandmother. Beautiful images of yourself for you both to cherish. You’ll love seeing how gorgeous you look in that sexy bustier that is hidden under your dress or those flirty little “Bride” panties you wore to your rehearsal dinner. There are so many ideas and images to capture that will complete your custom boudoir album.
My gorgeous Coterie Girl Andrea and I, had some fun shooting a bridal session recently. Flirting with her her veil and looking gorgeous in a white lace t-shirt, she made a stunning bride!
What you need to know…
Sessions, from the first consultation to the delivery of your album, can take 6-8 weeks. Yup, you read that right. So be sure to plan accordingly. The gift of digital files would be much faster and there is often the option for rush delivery but it will tack on some extra dollars to your purchase.
Although the images in this post are just bridal theme, make the most of your session and bring non bridal outfits also. We’ll plan the perfect wardrobe prior to your session day so you will be stress free and ready to go the day of your shoot.
As always I am just a phone call or email away if you have any questions about booking your bridal boudoir session. 408.460.1855 or bcoterie@sbcglobal.net. I look forward to hearing from you and making the prefect sexy little grooms gift the most memorable gift you give him!
And yet again I apologize for having removed these images as I can longer have my business associated with the person in these shots. I will soon post better bridal shots, I promise!

It’s no secret that I am partial to a seductive sexy and love, love, love sheer garments to accent beautiful lingerie. There is definitely something to be said for seduction and having pretty and feminine sweaters or blouses being worn without undergarments or with just a hint of a pretty bra and pantie set showing through, leaves the viewer wanting more. Plus, by layering such pretty fabrics and garments with matching accessories we have so many options for a gorgeous image series as we tease the viewer with a shoulder peek and remove items as we change poses- awesome for building anticipation in an album set!
This post shows some gorgeous purple options. Adding a splash of color can add so much to a session especially if it is complimentary to your skin tone. The first set in this image is a lovely purple sheer sweater with a gorgeous neck line, worn only with a pretty lace pantie. To add some great texture it can be worn with a spicy stiletto like this hot black pair with feather accents and a chunky necklace that draws the eye to your neckline. The second set shows a purple bra and pantie worn under a sheer black blouse, again accented with a colorful pair of heals and a beautiful hair flower. Heck, if purple is your color, you could easily wear both of these outfits for totally different looks but a very coordinated finish. Add a sexy black chemise or implied nude for a third outfit and you’re all set!

In recent months I have been putting a little more emphasis on the beauty factor during my shoots. By this I mean capturing those shots that my ladies can show off. These images are sexy, but not too revealing. Sometimes this is done while they are wearing lingerie, like this gorgeous shot of Miss M, who is wearing a slinky negligee that could easily be passed off for a pretty blouse or dress. It’s a beautiful image that could be shared with family and friends or displayed in her home.
The reason that I have been taking the time to include a few images of this style was due to the feedback from clients who have loved their images but wished they had something they could share without the worry of the images being too risqué for public viewing. Let’s face it, most of your boudoir images might be “for your eyes only” but as women, we ALL love the idea of having a gorgeous photo of ourselves to display with pride and why not make that happen while you are looking so dang good!? Our San Jose natural light studio is perfect for this type of portrait too, I swear it makes everyone’s skin look so radiant!
I love this next set, you look so stunning Miss M! (this was a last minute set, I provided the lace top and flower and I love the results!)
Now for those of you thinking “Yeah, but I want some really sexy shots?” Well, of course you do and don’t worry, we get lots of those too. I just wanted to show off the different varieties of images you’ll receive when you book a session with Boudoir Coterie. Besides, sometimes the sexiest images aren’t the most revealing, it’s about feeling gorgeous and when that happens, the “sexy” soon follows. Here’s a full body view… Smokin’ Hot!
Now go ahead and give me a call so we can discuss what style you would like the emphasis on. Every session is customized to my client so CONTACT me soon and we’ll start planning your dream shoot!
Special thanks to our lovely Signature Coterie Girl, Andrea Alarcon who did an amazing job with Miss M’s makeup for this shoot. She’s beautiful and talented!
Is Black Naughty or Nice? | San Jose Bay Area Boudoir Photography

If you haven’t already noticed, I have a thing for classic lingerie. I prefer it over hot pink, red, glitter and trendy pieces. Not that the other stuff doesn’t have a place in the bedroom, but for boudoir sessions I recomend more timeless pieces. Think Hollywood starlet’s from years gone by. My main argument for this is so you never look back at your images and think “what the heck was I wearing?” Nope, I want you to open your album 20 years from now and gush over your images as much as you did the first time you saw them. Today I’m having a little fun with black. Not only is it slimming and sexy, it can have some naughty undertones. I paired this set with some fun jewellery for a “tied up” sorta feel. A layered necklace and bracelet and a very flirty mask with a satin tie. Don’t forget that a simple prop can add some playfulness to your session. Hopefully this set will inspire some sexy black boudoir wardrobes.
Wrap Me In Black
Black get’s my vote for BOTH naughty & nice… it’s whatever you want it to be.

San Jose Boudoir Photographer: Football Is Sexy!

Today while talking with a client on the phone, we discussed incorporating her hubby’s favorite sport into a few shots. Let’s face it most guys are into some sort of sport and that sport is often football. Now what man wouldn’t like seeing his sexy lady looking all hot in her boudoir images while wearing his favorite teams jersey and cute panties? Well Victoria’s Secret has taken it there and created a women’s line that fits a woman’s curves. No more over sized, bulky jersey. Now you can have your own cute top and spicy panties to boot.
Here’s a small sampling of some of the items in this NFL line. Oh, and I am really not into football(don’t judge) so I was a total girl here and picked teams that had the same colors as my website. *snort*
Click the image to check out the team lineups, shop for your favorite team and then contact me to score your session date. I’ll give you the details play by play. So bring your A-game and I’ll promise you a win that will be a real confidence booster. Don’t get on the defense, you’ll be the MVP for the day. – See what I did there? Yes, I am easily amused. Haha.
